I am P. Alexandria, an artist, designer, coach and madwoman from Northeast Ohio. I am currently playing with all sorts of new ideas and media, from card-making to leather cuffs made with copper foil and glass fiber ribbon, and whatever strikes my fancy.
You can find my creations for sale on Etsy.com.
I have been formally educated at Columbus College of Art and Design as well as several other art schools on and off throughout my life. I also have degrees in Geology and Mechanical Drafting. My background is a curious blend of the artistic, the technical and the scientific.
I also enjoy working/playing with people as a Life/Creativity/Disability Coach. I was disabled 20 years ago and it took me many long years to get my life back into something that resembles life, rather than just existence. I also had what had seemed to be insurmountable mental blocks to my creativity. I can now say that I am finally becoming the me I was meant to be, after all this time.
II especially enjoy working with art that is unpredictable and learning to take the mistakes and make them into my greatest pieces. When I can take a piece that I was ready to throw in the trash and just have faith to jump off the cliff with it (metaphorically speaking), then I have really accomplished something.
